EmptyHangar is founded on the principle that pilots are as friendly as we are trustworthy.  Therefore, opening up your hangar to another pilot is as natural as another pilot doing the same for you.  Aircraft owners are part of a unique and elite group with instant camaraderie and goodwill for each other.  Five minutes in an FBO's pilot's lounge will re-affirm this fact.

EmptyHangar was created by a small group of four aviation entrepreneurs who believe that innovation is key to handling the challenges facing General Aviation today.  Regardless of airplane size, type, mission, or FAR, each of us is looking for ways to reduce our costs, but also protect the airplanes we depend on.  In Colorado during the winter season, a hangar can mean the difference between getting a mechanic to fix your sqwaks, or being grounded for another day.  In Texas during the summer, a hangar could save your airplane from treacherous hail damage during a thunderstorm.  The list goes on.  Empty Hangar connects pilots, owners, maintenance shops, and service companies in a new capacity. 

Our staff recognizes that private aviation is a dynamic industry and that plans change quickly. We fly too, we understand.
